Alzheimers Disease Home Remedies

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of age-related neurodegeneration and dementia.  Alzheimer’s disease is more common as we age. People over 60 are at risk from this chronic, often inheritable disease. Brain damage from the disease eventually leads to the death and destruction of neurons. The degeneration of brain tissue is caused by deposits of tau and beta-amyloid proteins.[1] It is characterized by progressive memory loss and intellectual function impairments that evolve in a variable fashion.

Although the exact cause of the disease has not been determined, it is possible to speculate on its causes. According to scientific studies, causes of alzheimer’s disease can be smoking, poor nutrition, and head trauma. People with little education are thought to be most at risk.[2]

There is currently no cure for Alzheimer’s disease, but there are however natural ways to slow down the process.

The use of herbal medicine for the treatment Alzheimer’s disease of  such as tulsi, ginseng, sage and ginkgo biloba are said to help reduce symptoms and increase comfort for patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Studies have highlighted the benefits of these plants for patients with cognitive disorders and their sleep quality. Many people use them as alzheimers disease home remedies.

Immunotherapy is also a good way to cure Alzheimer’s disease. It aims to eradicate the amyloid beta protein and the tau protein.[3] We also need to focus on early treatment in order to prevent the disease. As we know, lesions (amyloid plaques) and abnormal aggregates of tau proteins can be present for many years before symptoms manifest.

  1. My genes don’t help me as many close relatives have suffered from Alzheimer’s and my worst fear has come true. I have early onset Alzheimer’s and I am afraid of getting worse very fast. Without hesitation I started to do more research on the subject and look for natural alternatives. That is why Ginseng and Ginkgo Biloba are part of my daily diet. I try to take care of my diet and do a lot of exercises. I have faith in this!

  2. I started consuming Ashwagandha and I notice a significant difference. I am a software developer and I notice a significant improvement in collective thought processing. I compare software development to a number of spinning plates in a circus. I can simply spin more plates without dropping them. I notice it most when I miss a day. The effect doesn’t seem to get worse over time, so if you miss a day, it’s not a problem. Excellent natural brain medicine.

  3. Honestly, one of the best products I have ever tried. It does wonders for regulating mental health. Unlike other pills, which just numb your anxiety, Holy Basil Leaf actually allows you to stay mindful enough to reflexively work through your problems and handle your anxiety/stress head on. Memory starts to improve quite a bit. I highly recommend this product and have already purchased several bottles for family and friends, who have told me it works well for them as well.

  4. I have been taking curcumin for over a decade and it is a fact that is the best. I especially take it to improve my memory, in my family many suffered from Alzheimer’s and I prefer to help my brain with time. I would not want to go through the same but genetics is very strong. A good natural alternative!

  5. This is the best value for tulsi tea. It is just a very nice herbal tea that you can drink any time of the day. This tea helps my brain to take a break, it relaxes me. I drink it every day after work. I love it. I will definitely buy it again.

  6. The body itself produces CoQ10 naturally, but its production tends to decline with age. CoQ10 has been shown to help improve heart health and blood sugar regulation, aid in the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and reduce the frequency of migraines. Definitely a very good supplement!

  7. I started taking Omega-3 Supplements on the recommendation of my doctor to combat some symptoms of possible Alzheimer’s. I started taking these as directed for just one week. After taking these as directed for just one week it felt like the “mental fog” started to recede and I was more focused, my memory doesn’t feel as sluggish and I felt closer to being me again. They have been a great help and have had a significant and noticeable impact that I would not have imagined possible with something that did not require a prescription.

  8. I have been taking Turmeric Capsules for my adhd and concentration. These capsules are great and really help me with my symptoms. I can now sit down and read a book and remember the information. Highly recommended!

  9. I’m 67 years old and I’m still working and hope to keep working for a few more years. I work with much younger colleagues, so I have to keep up with them. I find that I remember better and understand faster than they do. Thanks for this great Coconut Oil. I have been using it for over a year now and it helps quite a bit for a healthy life, also for the brain cells it is very good!

  10. I have noticed a gradual cognitive decline, over the last year or so. Nothing debilitating, but definitely noticeable. And I decided to try Ginkgo Biloba. After the first week I started taking it, I experienced a clear return to my former “normal”, in terms of the mental acuity I used to enjoy, before the recent decline. In addition, I can report that on a recent short vacation, I did not take enough supplements, and experienced a return to feelings of cognitive decline. Once home, and again with this supplement, mental acuity returned quickly. I am a believer. I take one pill with breakfast and one with lunch. This has really worked for me. Perhaps, if I had not started noticing cognitive decline, I would not have noticed any positive effects from taking this.

  11. Highly recommended!!! My personal experience as an Alzheimer’s prone patient I have found Coenzyme Q10 to be remarkably helpful to the brain and memory. This is just my personal experience. Unfortunately, each person is uniquely affected by the disease. I have no idea how well this product may work for others, but for me it has been remarkably and observably helpful.

  12. I started taking Turmeric Capsules on the recommendation of my doctor to combat some of the side effects, as I am a recovering alcoholic. One of the unfortunate effects of drinking over a long period of time is severe vitamin B1 deficiency which can cause brain damage (in areas primarily associated with memory, heart regulation and even movement). After taking these as directed for just one week it felt like the “mental fog” started to recede and I was more focused, my memory doesn’t feel as sluggish and I felt closer to being me again. They have been a great help on the road to recovery and have had a significant and noticeable impact that I would not have imagined possible with something that did not require a prescription.

  13. I have cognitive problems due to the rare neurological manifestations of celiac disease. I take a prescription focus medication that does help; but not enough. For the past nine years since my diagnosis, I have worked hard to help my brain health. I eat an anti-inflammatory diet. I exercise six days a week. I have tried many supplements with no real results. After reading several positive reviews I decided to give natural medicine a try, so I have been taking Ashwagandha Root Extract Capsules for 1 month. It is obvious that natural remedies do not work immediately but I am very hopeful that this will help me. You have to take it for at least 6 months to see results. That is my goal now!

  14. Tulsi Extract Powder is a great product, I really find it helps with attention and concentration.

  15. Fyron G1 has been recommended to me, as it is completely natural and dye-free. Although I admit that I don’t believe much in these things anymore, I feel a slight improvement in my memory. I have been diagnosed with the beginnings of Alzheimer’s and obviously I am looking for all natural treatments so as not to get worse. I have been taking these drops for 6 months now and I can notice that I retain information for longer, which I could not do before.
