Taste very good. Almost to good to be true. We’ve been taking the Fermented Cod Liver Oil for a few years now (ASD son must have a fish oil) but needed to save a few bucks this month so I decided to give this a try. It is very clear in color which was a shocker kinda since the FCLO is dark brown, so I wondered if this was really refined or something. So I got on the Weston A. Price Foundation website and this CLO was on their recommendation list as being “GOOD” And with the hundreds of CLO brands out there for this one to make their “good” list was great! BUT, I am very dissatisfied that the mouth of this jar is so wide!!! If you accidentally tip it over you can bye bye to all your CLO. Hope they can fix that soon and give us a syringe to use. I will update if I notice any health benefits in our son and myself or not. My body will let me know if it really works.*Update* We have been taking this for a few weeks now and I’m happy to report that my Keratosis Pilaris aka “chicken skin” on the backs of my arms that I’ve had for years is about 95% GONE!!!! Incredible! FCLO never done this for me, and I never knew why since “they” say KP is linked to a vitamin A deficiency, but I always thought FCLO I was taking had vitamin A in it? Who knows… but I’m supper happy about it!
With multiple health issues and requirements to avoid UV exposure my D is chronically low. All the other types of D supplement and prescription have greatly and paradoxically aggravated my auto immune problems. I’ve only been taking this a short time so i can’t speak to how it will effect my levels long term but at this point im not having negative consequences.Best part is that this isn’t as highly flavored as the other oils I’ve tried. I prefer unflavored but that’s more difficult to find in concentrate. The lemon gives a pleasant masking flavor but isn’t so strong it repeats on you all day. The only time i taste it is in my mouth and that’s how i prefer it.Edit 3/24/17 -Just received my new blood labs yesterday . After 5 weeks of treatment at the 1 teaspoon dose my vitamin D levels went from a 2 to a 31!
tastes ok, I recommend taking it by the spoon and never mixing with anything else (you’ll only ruin whatever you add it to). Does the job, though a bit pricey if taking regularly
I’ve convinced my daughter that these are actually little cod livers. She’s so gullible. Also my knees don’t ache anymore.
I decided to try this bc I heard it was good for acne and PCOS. I had 3 large cysts on my left ovary and they are completely gone. My skin is also looking really healthy and my acne is almost gone. My pores are smaller than they have ever been. I had stopped using acne meds and my skin broke out horribly and I really didn’t want to start finding other meds to use but my skin was so bad it was depressing. I decided to try this along w/ zinc and I feel like it’s made the difference in my skin and PCOS health.
I read the reviews and chose the cinnamon, not bad at all! No fish taste and NO FISH BURPS.Comes with a dropper that you can aim at the back of your throat. Will post results in a few months – looking forward to stronger teeth
The order and delivery of the item was very quick and was delighted to try this product. However when i had opened the lid, there was a strong smell of fish oil that had gone off although it is in date. This is a sign that the fish oil capsules are not of good quality. Secondly, there is also NO information about the products ingredients and whether there is any Gelatine, this is something that many people seek to know for those who are vegetarians. Upon receiving the product i then see that Gelatine is contained within the product and there is no indication of this on the web page.Know that when fish oil capsules have an off smell you can tell that the quality of the fish oil is bad, which means that only a small amount of fish oil will be absorbed in the body. With quality fish oil capsules, the entire amount will be absorbed in the body. BE MINDFUL! I have always shopped from Holland and Barret and will continue to!
I think I was expecting far worse than this. Although, the oily texture may not be for some it’s not as bad as you would think. The lemon flavor is a nice change of pace and actually makes taking this supplement easier to take. It has helped me with my chronic dry eye and overall well-being.
No fishy smell. Very high quality
When I was a young child my mother always gave me a teaspoon of cod liver oil and I hated the taste. Now that I am 71 years old I have been taking cod liver oil that keeps my cholesterol levels in good check. This is not your mother’s cod liver oil as the taste has improved dramtically.
I have used this for many years. My Naturopathic Doctor prescribes it and I have used it for many years.
My entire family has been taking this codliver for over 10 yrs…and I will ONLY buy this brand. I have treid other brands but I like the way this product is processed. You have to be very careful with codliver oils, some have very high levels of mercury….this was company takes great effort to minimalize the mercury.Since taking this we hardly ever get sick….and if we do it is short lived and the symptoms are minimal. Codliver builds up your immune system….not to mention how beautiful your skin, hair and nails look. My hair and nails grow so much, and I have thyroid issues which tend to thin the hair and nails. Mine are very strong and my hair is thick. I have nothing to gain for reviewing this product, nothing was given to me…I just want to share with others how much this has changed my life and my family. Codliver also helps greatly with inflammation of the muscle and joints….which thyroid also causes, but this keeps mine under control GREATLY! Give it a try, you wont be disappointed….especially during these covid time it really helps to build up your immunities.

It is difficult to judge if by taking supplements you are improving your health, but I take them just in case! These capsules are easy to swallow and don’t have any after taste. Seem to be a bit cheaper than other brands too.
I normally buy the lemon taste version of this fish oil but thought I’d try this one as it was $10 less…. ouch haha. I shouldn’t have. Unless you have a preference for the fishy taste (some people do, as it tells them if the oil has gone bad) buy the flavored version, you won’t regret it.

Just stick it in and swallow without tasting 😋 referring to cod liver oil, think it’s working, big fan on taking supplements, would recommend this product 👍
This product was recommended by my vet for my dog who has inflammatory bowel disease. Since I’ve been giving her cod-liver oil I’ve been able to reduce her steroids which is absolutely brilliant. It’s really good for her coat too.
It was well protected from damage and exactly as ordered and not some product close to expiration, first class, will order from them again
