Water!! Drinking plenty of water, it’s part of the gout treatment!
The key word is to drink a lot of water to eliminate uric acid from your body! Indeed, water helps the body with its diuretic effect to eliminate excess uric acid and other toxins. So good hydration will help reduce gout attacks. It is recommended to drink at least 2 litres of water a day as dehydration is a risk factor for gout attacks.
Also drink lemon. Due to its high vitamin C content, lemons help to eliminate the accumulation of uric acid in the blood. Consume it fresh, in juice and preferably organic. It can be combined with baking soda to be even more effective.
Moderate coffee consumption can ward off gout and kidney problems by reducing a coffee drinker’s blood levels of uric acid
Avoid drinking soft drinks (rich in fructose) and sugary juices, also the alcohols that cause gout attacks such as beer, wine, rum, whisky, gin and vodka.
