  1. I read somewhere that Juniper Berry essential oil is supposed to be a great topical treatment for Fibromyalgia pain. I figured it was worth a shot and the price was right. I added the essential oil to some unscented lotion and use it as needed when I have a pain flare-up. I’m not sure if it’s in my head, or coincidence, or if it actually works, but I’ve noticed a significant decrease in pain shortly after using my new lotion!I’ve also heard you can add it to bath water and soak for whole body relief. My only dislike is the smell. It smells like pine trees which is unfortunately my LEAST favorite smell. But, it’s totally worth it for the pain relief.

  2. First of all I highly recommend Edens Garden Essential Oils to anyone and everyone, they truly are 100% pure oil, you can go on their website and they tell you how they distill the oils from the plants, they are one of only 3 company’s really are100% pure. Now for the juniper berry oil: I bought this one because I was told and read that the juniper berry oil is the best for pain relief for chronic pain suffers, and it really is! It does have a pungent smell but if you put it with lavender tit can’t smell it, and also for the pain relief I get its worth it. I have a severe spinal cord injury and I’ve taken to holistic remedies as well as medication for pain, and the combo of juniper berry oil and the lavender is heaven for the topical pain. Highly Highly recommend.

  3. I’ve been using this in my diffuser for several weeks and I’m loving it. I grew up in the boonies and we had tons of juniper around the house so for me this is such a lovely home-y smell. It’s not too astringent and mixed with some pine oil it smells like a New England forest. Works very well with the Now Foods diffusers. I wish it were a bit more affordable, maybe closer to the other Now Foods oil price points, but I haven’t been able to find a similar quality oil so this is my go-to for the time being. Overall it’s a really lovely unique scent that works great as an air freshener.

  4. I purchased this oil after hearing rave reviews from a friend who also deals with acne.First, we both have acne, but different ethnicity and levels of severity of acne.Mine is mostly food allergy related and hers is more than likely hormonal.I have lighter African American skin and she has fair Puerterican skin.We both have different face types which is why I think this may have worked better for her. It was a little lack-luster for me. I found better results with Sea Buckthorn oil (for a few months until they changed the formula). This may work for other skin types or acne levels, but it didnt’ do much for me. It was heavy enough to really moisturize and took forever to come out of the bottle.I gave it 4 stars because I think it is best used for less severe acne. She raved about her results and buys this stuff religiously. If you don’t get random cysts, other types of large or hard bumps or a lot of white heads, this may work well for you. If you acne is more severe, I would recommend Sea Buckthorn oil from Mom’s (where I purchased mine), or your local health food store.

  5. I accidentally found my perfect Christmas tree scent. I originally bought this for making my pain ointments as it soothes joints and muscles and skin oils…….what I love Even more is that of all the Balsam Fir, etc. that are reviewed as The Christmas tree scent oils, This One It IT!!!!! For pain, for skin, for diffusing, air mist. This oil does it all. It smells like a cheerful forest, unlike Balsam Fir Needle that didn’t have much scent at all, I mix them both, along with pine….Wala, Christmas in October..

  6. Quality product, Smells Great! Overpriced when same item and quality can be bought cheaper with a different name. Definitely paying for the brand. Still the oil is good.

  7. One of my clients requested juniper berry oil. I ordered NOW because all of the products I have purchased from them are high quality. My client is very pleased with the oil.

  8. I must admit when I took my first sniff of this I was put off a bit. VERY WOODSY straight out of the gate. BUT, when I combined it with some rose and a little melissa, WOW! Absolutely in love. And the other reviewers are so right: it changes as you wear it. That’s so crazy. My husband is probably sick of me running to him and sticking my hands in his face with “Oh my GOSH smell this!” I’ve done it every day since I bought it! But I can’t help it. That blend I made is INTOXICATING. I have added my blend, which btw is all from Gya Labs, with rose hip seed oil (4oz from edens garden), and I use this as my facial moisturizer at least every night, sometimes in the morning if I remember. It’s only been 4 or 5 days, but I’m already noticing a difference. I didn’t even sleep that great last night, and at my age (38) usually I can see all that in the form of accented crows feet. NOT TODAY BABY. Just look at this no makeup/barely awake half selfie i just took. I don’t see a single crows foot, toe, NADA. You ladies know how picky we can be in that mirror, and I swear I haven’t seen this lack of a single crow toe in at least 3-4 YEARS. So, let me tell you I’m ordering more the nanosecond I get low on it. Great stuff, even better price!

  9. Smells great.

  10. I’m quiet amazed after 3 days of massaging into my lower legs how its reduced swelling and my ankles are less painful. I use jojoba oil as a carrier oil to mix it with as I have used jojoba as a great natural oil on my skin for years as its closest to your own skins oil.Anyone who is sat thinking about trying this should try for the price it’s a great alternative to chemicals that can cause more problems!

  11. Satisfied

  12. juste compagnie délivré au canada laisse a désiré

  13. Not as strong smelling as I would have liked, but it’s ok and used in aroma diffuser gives off acceptable scent

  14. I got this product 2 days ago and am writing a review hoping it will help some frustrated couple out there. If your partner snores, it’s horrific. If it’s happening to you, you know. So much emotional frustration and tension over an issue that is no one’s fault, yet a total sleep destroyer. So my man and I tried many things. Finally resigned to rotating between nasal strips (which help only some, and only when perfectly placed), and ear plugs for me (finally found some that muffle, but none of them block it out entirely). My man has a long history of respiratory weakness, and eucalyptus oi is supposed to be awesome for that. So we got a diffuser for the bedroom and started running strong eucalyptus radiata all night to help him. I was surprised to notice a slight lessening of the snoring volume with the eucalyptus (it has a strong menthol smell).I’ve since gotten way into essential oils, self-taught. I’m thrilled with all of the practical uses they have (first aid, etc). Wasn’t keen to try thyme because I’m not a huge thyme fan in cooking. Just makes me think of spaghetti sauce. Well, in my research to help hubby with other health issues, I came across thyme being recommended for lungs and immunity. So two nights ago, I fixed up a potent half eucalyptus, half thyme diffuser blend (about 10 drops each for a small bedroom, with the diffuser placed on his side of the bed). Went to bed with my ear plugs at the ready. Was absolutely shocked when he was SILENT the whole night. NO SNORING. Well, that seemed too good to be true. The next day, hubby took a nap by himself, no diffuser. Popped in to check on him and he was snoring per usual. That night, fired up my half and half blend again (eucalyptus & thyme). NO SNORING. This time I listened closely to his breathing. It’s like the thyme is relaxing whatever part makes that flapping/constricted sound because he was breathing in and out with far less strain. Noise aside, as a wife who really loves her man, I want him to breathe well. To me, snoring is like a sound of choking. Seems to me that no snoring has got to mean better oxygen delivery and better sleep. Historically my man sleeps lousy, waking up many times. I’m thinking if he gets better oxygen, he’ll sleep longer. Anyhow, I didn’t want to raise false hopes, so I did a few more experiments. This morning, after running all night, the aroma of the thyme and eucalyptus was very depleted. He began snoring again. I snuck out of bed and replenished the oils just to see. The snoring STOPPED. Later on, we woke up and he turned off the diffuser as we were getting ready to actually get out of bed. But then he drifted off again while the diffuser was still off. Within 5 minutes, he started snoring again. So there is no doubt in my mind that the thyme is a key ingredient here. But the part that I am still blown away by is how effectively it stops the snoring. When he’s on his back, he’s always the worst, and even with thyme his breathing becomes more strained and small attempts at snoring start happening. So I just have him turn on his side, and SILENCE. Thyme is a relationship and sleep saver!! It smells a bit green, and actually doesn’t make me think of spaghetti sauce, so it’s doable. There are countless blend opportunities, and you could easily bring this with you to a hotel and put a lot of the oil in some kind of dish to diffuse it without a machine. So this has many possibilities. I am thrilled. And clearly this brand is putting out a quality product, given what I’ve shared. I really hope this helps someone.

  15. I haven’t opened. Its a gift. Came in amazing little box and it was sealed properly.

  16. Second one I’ve bought. I use it for cleaning aswell as other usual essential oil jobs! I even put a few drops on the filter in my vac. Really lovely oil for all uses. Highly recommend

  17. For anyone with a bad toothache or broken tooth, get this!Best way to use it I’ve found is to drench a small piece of cotton and apply it with pressure on the sore area it works like a charmReason for the removal of a star? Not the smell (even though that is horrific) it’s the tasteDO NOT GET THIS ON YOUR TONGUE.It is not only sore but my lord is tastes like satan himself. So if you can’t go to a dentist, use this. But if you can, go and avoid the taste of satan,Thanks.

  18. I lost a great deal of my hair due to chemotherapy and targeted radiation treatments when I was fighting a massive brain tumor – I won, by the way – and I was having problems with dry, itchy scalp, which is why I originally ordered this oil. Not only did it take care of my scalp, my hair is much thicker, and I’m already seeing new growth sprouting up after only four treatments. The scent is earthy and smells a bit like cooking spices, but it’s not unpleasant at all. I have tried several different oils over the past few years, but this one is definitely a keeper.

  19. I love, love this product. The scent is great and it works like a miracle. I use it on wounds and it heals them so fast and minimizes the scar. Also, I use it on face creams or mix a few drops with castor oil and olive oil to use as night serum, live my skin moist and young looking. Hope this help!

  20. I’d like to preface the comment below by stating that I am a stickler for quality goods/products in reference to anything I purchase. I’m not one to shy away from paying for quality, and I do NOT leave dishonest or misleading reviews. As a girl who chooses carefully where she spends her little hard earned money, I’m an advocate for fellow consumers and want to provide nothing but fair and honest insight to *my* experience with any product or any company I review. So far I’ve purchased 9 different oils from Gya Labs (Roman Chamomile, Ylang Ylang, Black Pepper, Ginger, Egyptian Geranium, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Vetiver, Pink Grapefruit) and can honestly say they are just as good as the higher-priced, well-known oils brands. I compared my Gya Labs oils to two other well-known essential oil brands and could not tell the difference, from scent to medicinal qualities. It’s pleasing to know I can buy high-quality oils for reasonable prices! Thoroughly impressed! I will absolutely purchase more oils from Gya Labs.

  21. This is definitely 100% pure essential oil. You can tell that it is steam-distilled, and it leaves no residue when it evaporates – a test of a pure product.Like all products from SVA Organics, this oil was packaged extremely well – in dark amber glass with a shrink-banded strong, tight cap, and I love their thick, corrugated cardboard box with reinforced top and bottom, and a separate, secure area for a quality glass dropper that can be screwed on in place of the cap. This is the second purchase I’ve made from them, and their packaging is consistently top quality. This Juniper Berry is so fresh and clean, woodsy and wonderful, and blends really well with many other oils – lavender, lemon, orange, lemongrass – it’s a nice, well-rounded aroma.I bought a bunch of different essential oils from SVA Organics (amazing prices), so I’ve been blending them together to use in my diffuser and in the bath (diluted with a good carrier oil like Olive or Almond, of course – never use full-strength). My favorite blends with Juniper Berry:Lemongrass, Orange, Juniper Berry and Black PepperPink grapefruit, tangerine, juniper berry and black pepperEnjoy!

  22. Good buy for price paid. Pleased with the goods. Will purchase again

  23. Great quality oil. A bit expensive.

  24. I wa hoping to substitute the usual peppermint oil with this. But it smells milder. Not my cup of tea. But to be fair, I grade it 5 stars because idk what Japanese peppermint smells like.

  25. I ordered this because I love the scent of juniper berries. I didn’t review for other features of the product such as pain relief because that is not why I purchased the essential oil. The bottle was a great deal for my money. The shipment arrived as expected at the estimated time.

  26. I bought this aroma oil for defusing in my bedroom for the first hour of going to bed and it’s smell makes an amazing relaxing environment. I’ll get another defuser for family room to get its benefits daily and strongly recommend it to everyone how like a fresh and relaxing space in their home and even at the office.

  27. Pros: Great value when it comes to quantity/$$ compared to the others. Works well as I been using it for a week in a humidifier’s diffuser function. Includes the bottle as well as a eye dropper, a nozzle, and the original cap – everything you’ll need.Cons: None yet.

  28. It smell nice. It makes my hair very smooth the next day. So the value factor is high. But it doesn’t help hair growth. Used it for a few months and no change, unfortunately.I ordered Rosemary Oil + Almond Carrier Oil to see if that fares better.
