The best working and least obnoxious smelling tub of coconut oil I’ve found yet. My 7 year old son and I both have very dry skin and eczema. This coconut oil works FAR better than my son’s $1000 a tube perscription Eczema ointment which is extreamly painful to his skin I slather this on him from his chest down the second he gets out of the shower -while his skin is still wet. (Put a towel on the ground first and never put it on your child in the shower as it is very slippery) and then put long sleeved organic cotton pjs and socks on. Don’t let your kid run it all over your or his own hair because although it’s a great conditioning treatment it needs a re-washing to get out!!! Trust me…I know…All in All:::This works better than all other lotions, salves, and even RX creams(like the one pictured next to coconut oil). Great price too. Store in dark, cool place. I’ve been living with Dry skin and Eczema my whole life(37 years) and my son 7 years. I’ve tried it all behind the pharmacy counter and OTC. I’ve payed hundreds of thousands on 1000’s of different creams, lotions, salves, and ointments. I know everyone is different and every skin is different but if you’re looking for an something new to try at a affordable price, that is organic, -try this -if you disagree with me about the skin benifits you can always bake with it instead!!!!
Great price for a 16oz container! And great coconut oil. This is the greatest makeup remover, tattoo and body moisturizer, throw some on dark circles, great for cooking (love making pancakes with this a sub for cooking oil), oil pulling for teeth every once and a while.I’ve paid more for the same product and used Nutiva brand before, but this stuff is just great.Hot summer days to be kept in fridge or cool area as it will turn to oil when hot, but solidifys back up and cooled.
I have been using this product for about a year now. I have struggled, in the past, with thinning hair. After checking things out, medically, all was well. I decided to do something natural. That is why I chose this product. I use this, weekly, at night and I sleep with it on my hair. It has refreshed my scalp and it has stopped itching altogether. It has caused my hair to be shiny and it is growing like crazy. Very pleased with this product.

I love this stuff. I have dry skin in the winter. I use this to moisturize 2x a day. (use sparingly) I have not had eczema since.
As we all know coconut oil is very useful in many recipes and personal care. That’s why I bought it and very happy with this purchase. This one is unrefined and satisfactorily fulfils the purpose its bought for (this isn’t a forum to discuss the recipes here but it I can recommend it based on my personal experience with this product). This is organic (one of the reasons I bought this one) and can be used for cooking and different baking recipes in kitchen.Most of the reasons for my rough hair:I was a little careless, so chronic use of chemical hair straighteners, coloring and other different hair manipulations like ironing and hot air blow drying made my hair lifeless and rough. At least twice a week, treatment with this coconut oil, helped me a lot. I LOVE this oil. I’m 46 years old. I used to buy expensive wrinkle creams. Last year, I stopped wearing all makeup and stopped using my wrinkle creams. Instead, I started applying this coconut oil daily after showers to my whole face, especially under eyes, laughlines & over lips, forehead, neck and the backs of my hands. It has improved the look of my skin drastically. My wrinkles are so much less now than before. I have a more youthful looking face, neck and hands again. Very impressed. I definitely recommend.
I bought a store brand coconut oil to put in my bulletproof coffee and it had zero scent or flavor. My sister had a jar of Kirkland Organic brand and she let me try it before I bought a big jar. I prefer the Kirkland brand because it smells like coconut and has a nice, light, natural coconut flavor. It really enhances my coffee. If you love coconut, you’ll love this. I like that the jar has indentations to make it easy to hold the giant jar, but those same indents make It a bit tricky to scrape the last bit of product out of the jar so you end up wasting some. Can’t have it all, but I’m about to buy my second jar.

I’ve used this extensively as a more budget-friendly option than cold-pressed raw coconut oil. It is more opaque and firmer in texture but melts readily and gives a decent result in raw desserts, sweets, pies etc.The jars I find a bit of a struggle to use: the opening is narrow and the fat being firm you have to hack at it with a spoon to get it out which is a bit awkward. I think a good idea would be to melt it and transfer to a wider-mouthed container.Also it is plastic jar and prob not BPA free but hey! This is a value product.
I researched through web md first, which coconut oil is the number one product and it leads any high priced or medication to give all the benefits for your skin, hair, and health benefits. Well I made a list of the top 10. #1 was nutiva and by the second use my skin showed immediate results. I have skin cancer and b4 my recent diagnosis I started experiencing dryness, skin tone was changing my face within 5 yrs just was not at all what has always been. I say this because I was blessed with beautiful skin, tone, and glow. So I knew something was wrong but everyone else said your imagining it. Well using this product 5 days straight out of seven brought me relieve from actual pain and redness, discoloration, and what looked like small zits or rash. skin has gotten 60% better within a month. Obviously the area where the Carcinoma is what it is but that’s 3inches of my body. The rest is about to be back 100% guaranteed.
So I’ve loved this brand of coconut oil as it’s a 10/10 for smell, taste, use and all. I recently received the biggest jar but it was only a month away from its best before date (which I know is not the expiry date) I emailed them and let them know the oils very very close to the date and no one can consume that much in a month… they sent me a free one (same huge size) as soon as the new stock came in. I love me some great customer service : )
I got Organic Fractionated Coconut oil right after I got a cancer diagnosis. I have been using coconut oil almost every single day since then – face, body and gently massaging into my scalp and on my hair. It is a life-saver for me with the harsh cancer treatments I had to go through. People are amazed at how soft my hair is, and this oil saves my skin from getting too itchy, and is very nourishing. Love, love, love!!! I also love the pump feature as it prevents me from using too much, instead of pouring it out of the bottle. Thumbs up! I will be getting more!
This is my “GO-TO” place and Brand for Organic Coconut Oil. It’s an extremely HEALTHY oil for me to consume to help prevent and treat health common health issues, as well as externally for glowing skin and hair (YES, great for DOGS TOO) * Mine gets 2 tsp in their FOOD DAILY, and will happily lick it from a paper towel or the palm of my hand, mixed with powdered holistic herbs as needed. EATING it already gives her a glossy coat, but I’ve also used it externally on her coat to get rid of that “doggy smell” and to treat sore paws from winter salt!I use on my face at night, my skin right out of the shower; on the dogs coat and paws, etc. etc. I’ve even used it on a squeaky hinge lol, because it was within my reach at the time!Healthly, Healthy, Healthy !!!
I purchased this because I needed for a recipe. It did the trick. Wish coconut oil was not so expensive.
Recieved in a good condition, smells as expected, using it with Castor oil from the same brand, and am using the mix for my hair which is giving me good results so far.
This coconut oil is great. The amount you get for the price is amazing. For the people who are giving it less stars, or a bad review because of the color? You need to do your research. Refined coconut oil has a natural yellow-ish color when in liquid form. It is also not going to smell or taste like coconut. When it’s solid it is white. Naturally when you receive it in the mail on a hot summers day, it will most likely be in liquid form or at least half melted. Of course when you buy it in an air conditioned supermarket it won’t be melted. If you don’t get that, then you probably should not use coconut oil. Not fair to give the seller a bad review for something that is supposed to happen. 5 stars.
Coconut oil has many uses – but this was crazy cheap for a product I have used many times before. Max order was 3 packs of 3 – for £6 total. Thats £6 for 4.5L of oil. Cheapest 5L tubs I could find were £24!!! Thank you. I use these for massage with my clients as they dont smell, stain or leave any oily residue. It’s moisturising too.
Good product, works as it should, good price. Comes with pump. You can use after shower on skin -absorbs quickly, non-greasy, moisturizing, or to make DYI beauty products. Does not have a scent as it should. You can add essential oils if you desire, but Since this is a bigger bottle I would separate some oil in smaller bottle then add essential oils based on your skins needs.
This is not your typical coconut oil. You really do feel it is coconut doing its magic on your skin. I use PURA D’OR Coconut Oil for healing purposes on my dermatitis over my hands, arms, and face. Immediately after using it only for a few days, I started healing and feeling less pain the dermatitis cause on my skin. I also use other oils, including their shampoo brand. PURA D’OR always delivers, and I continue to be a very happy customer. I am now able to move my hands without feeling any pain, and my rashes on my hands are going away. I am just so grateful that PURA D’OR is able to reduce the horrible and painful effects on the skin due to having dermatitis.

My gynecologist recommended coconut oil in place of silicone or water-based lubes when making love started causing pain. Ladies, we all know as we get older things don’t get or stay as wet as they used to, making friction not as fun as it should be. This coconut oil is organic and pure and even comes in a handy pump bottle, so sitting on my night stand it looks a lot better than a giant pump bottle of KY. This product made me feel like I was in my 20s again and my partner agreed. I’d highly recommend to any ladies dealing with the dryness that comes with age.The only negative I have is that I really love the smell of coconut and this product had no smell at all and I mean none…no flavor either. Not really a negative so much as just unexpected.*Warning, if you’re using condoms, stick with the silicone or water based lube, as oil degrades the latex.
Used as a carrier oil for essential oils, and works quite well. Would like to be able to get this in a larger volume.
This is exactly as it is advertised, fractionated coconut oil. The only ingrediate listed is fractionated coconut oil. It is light, very moisturerizing and a little goes a long way. I used it on my skin after a shower, and just worked it in (like I said a little goes a long way) you do have to work it in a little so it will no sit on the skin. I also tried as a hot oil treatment for my hair. It worked great not too oily and left a natural shine. The packages was the best I’ve seen for oils. So it comes with a screw top not with the pump pictured (the pump is in the package you put it on yourself) then it’s wrapper in bubble wrap. It came without a spill. I prefer the pump because this is liquidy and gives me more control over the amount disbursed. The bottle is a great deal for the price and there is no scent to this oil. I added a drop of lavender to a couple of squirts of this for my 7 year olds bath and it worked great. Will be a regular staple in my beauty regimen!
