Dandruff Home Remedies

On average, an anti dandruff treatment lasts about ten days. To get rid of oily dandruff, it is best to use a treatment based on antifungal agents or a shampoo containing antifungal agents (selenium, zinc, etc.). There are many treatments for dandruff, so it’s important to choose the dandruff treatment medicine which is the best for you. You can do your dandruff treatment at home or at salon, but use a medicated maximum strength dandruff shampoo only if you really need it.

For example, there is a antidandruff shampoo with pyrithione which many people use, but there are many natural home remedies such as Apple Cider Vinegar, Zinc, Selenium, Aloe Vera,… or oil for dandruff treatment, which are used for overnight dandruff treatment and also for treatments for kids. 1. Apply apple cider vinegar on the hair? What?
    Wonderful!
I would never thought that this would help me to get rid of dandruff, something I have struggled with all my life. I tried all kinds of shampoos but nothing helped.
If I had known that vinegar was the answer, I wouldn’t have spent so much money on other treatments that were supposed to help.
    Again, natural always wins!

  2. I am trying garlic powder for my scalp. I hope this will help me to get rid of dandruff. The smell of it is not very pleasant on the hair but it will be worth a try.

  3. I apply coconut oil on my hair to eliminate dandruff. It’s working wonders for me. I am delighted with it. Also my hair is much shinier and softer. Recommended.

  4. So far I have only used it in my hair shampoo, trying to get rid of my dandruff for good. The women in my family are also using it on their hair and so far have noticed no more hair loss, no more thinning hair. this stuff is absolutely amazing!!!!

My mother and mother-in-law are not going bald thanks to this Neem oil. Because of their diabetes medications they are on they were doing horrible tests to their skin and hair. I would recommend this product to everyone. Men and women. today I put this cream on my super dry skin and stretch marks and my skin is sooooo soft! And my stretch marks seem lighter after just one use. This is the best oil ever. I am beyond happy right now. thank you so much!

  5. I really like garlic supplements, especially during flu season because garlic helps fight infections and colds. I have done some reading on garlic and found out that it can also help eliminate capspa, which for me would be an added bonus. Because so far I can’t seem to get rid of it and I’ve tried everything.
It is a great supplement and I am very pleased. I would recommend it.

  6. I purchased Selenium as suggested to help with insomnia. The first night I noticed that I slept better. I have been taking them for a couple of months now, and my nights are better. But to my surprise it also helped the dandruff on my head go away. I couldn’t get rid of it with anything and it’s good that this helped me with that too. I will continue taking them.

  7. I have used coconut oil for two weeks – every night – (I bought 3) …. I have a lot of hair.
My hair has been so chemically damaged, it’s porous and very dry. Needless to say, I suffer from dandruff precisely because my scalp is also so damaged.
I put it on my head with dry hair…. I left it on my head either overnight or for a few hours….
It washes out of the hair easily but use a shampoo that is sulfate free and a coconut conditioner that is also sulfate free. After the conditioner my hair was the softest I have felt in many years…not even the salon has left it that soft. Also…it seems to lighten my hair – the more days I used it the more my natural hair color came out and the dandruff faded.
I am so glad I read these comments…I hope you are glad you read mine.
    Good luck to you.

  8. This Omega 3 passes the smell test…literally. The capsules themselves have no discernible odor, and when I stick my nose in to smell the bottle there is only the vaguest hint of a fishy smell. I have not had any fishy tasting burps either. Overall, very happy with the purchase so far. I want to try it to make my skin better and see if I can get the dandruff to go away with this supplement. I passed the smell test, now the effectiveness test is missing.

  9. My daughter’s scalp was so bad that it was covered with scabs when she told me about the problem. I had used Neem Oil on my own scalp with success, so I tried it on her while we were waiting for the doctor’s visit. Within a week, it was like she had a new scalp. She was too embarrassed to tell me and it hurt so bad….. What a relief this oil has been! It smells awful in the shower but not bad after drying the hair. and it’s worth every bit of smell! I can’t believe it can help such a serious problem. Now we don’t have much to show the doctor.

  10. I am really liking this Aloe Vera Gel Powder and will buy it again. I have a type of dermatitis on my scalp and this Aloe powder is giving me relief. I leave it on my scalp for 15 minutes. It relieves the extreme itching and is exfoliating the flaky areas of my scalp. Even if you don’t have this problem, it will make your scalp feel super clean and detoxified. I follow up with the conditioner since I have dry hair. It doesn’t have a weird smell, doesn’t burn or sting.

  11. I am very excited. I have chronically suffered from scalp dermatitis and have PCOS, so the combination has caused my hair to thin dramatically over the past few years. I bought this Coconut Oil as a last resort after trying all kinds of shampoos.
After almost a month I noticed that my hair had grown all over my scalp and my dandruff was almost completely gone. I will continue to use it to completely eliminate dandruff.
